The object is small enough that it could have been overlooked during a pocket check, but it’s unusual enough that I can’t imagine immediately recognizing what it is.
Now I’m wondering whether this is some random piece of hardware he carried around—or whether we’ve somehow lost an important part of our brand-new dryer.
