Could It Be a Dryer Part?
My first thought was that it might actually belong to the dryer.
The shape certainly makes it look like some kind of mechanical component. The polished ball on one end and the threaded section on the other suggest that it could be designed to connect or support another part.
Some dryers use drum support shafts and ball-style components to help support the drum as it rotates. If a component like that somehow came loose, it could potentially explain why it ended up inside the drum.
But there’s a problem: without knowing the dryer brand and model, it’s difficult to say for certain whether this particular piece belongs to the machine.
