Inspect areas around:
- Pipes and plumbing
- Doors and windows
- Foundations
- Vents
- Garages
- Rooflines
- Utility openings
- Cracks around walls and floors
The CDC recommends sealing openings to prevent rodents from entering buildings. Rats and mice can squeeze through surprisingly small gaps.
