You’re Done Shopping, the Sun Is Setting… Then You See It

You’ve finished your shopping.

The bags are in your hands, the  parking lot is getting darker, and you’re ready to head home.

Then, just as you’re about to leave, you notice something unusual.

Maybe it’s sitting on the ground near your car. Maybe it’s attached to a  shopping cart, tucked beside a parking-space marker, or partly hidden beneath another object.

For a moment, you stop and wonder:

“What exactly is that?”

Large shopping centers and supermarkets are busy places.
