What Could They Be?
My first thought was candle wax.
The pieces have a light yellowish-white color and appear fairly solid, with smooth surfaces and rough, broken edges. They look remarkably similar to pieces of wax that have been snapped or broken apart.
Another possibility is soap. Some types of soap can become dry and brittle and may leave behind pieces that look almost identical to what I found.
There are also other possibilities, including craft wax, cosmetic wax, or some kind of household product.
