When you move into an older or previously owned house, you sometimes discover little fixtures that leave you completely puzzled.
That’s exactly what happened with this kitchen.
Mounted along the side of the counter is a long black rod with decorative ends. The current homeowner has even found a way to use it for hanging a plastic trash bag—but was that actually what the previous owner intended?
Probably not.
