Step 2: Apply It to the Glass
Make sure the oven is switched off and completely cool before cleaning.
Spread the paste over the dirty areas of the oven door glass. Concentrate on spots with visible grease or baked-on residue.
Avoid forcing the mixture into vents, openings, seals, or electrical components.
Step 3: Let It Sit
Give the paste some time to loosen the buildup.
For ordinary grime, around 15–30 minutes may be enough. Heavier buildup may require more time.
The baking soda helps provide gentle abrasive action, while the dish soap helps break down greasy residue.
Step 4: Gently Scrub
Using a soft sponge or microfiber cloth, gently work over the glass in small circular motions.
Don’t use excessive pressure or abrasive materials that could scratch the surface.
For particularly stubborn spots, repeat the process rather than aggressively scrubbing.
Step 5: Wipe Everything Away
Use a clean damp microfiber cloth to remove the cleaning paste.
You may need to rinse and wipe the cloth several times until all residue has disappeared.
Finally, dry the glass with a clean towel to help prevent streaks.
A Simple Trick for Extra Shine
Once the glass is clean, use a fresh, slightly damp microfiber cloth for a final wipe.
